Statistics on owner occupier  home buyers can be sourced from a variety of sources.

The ABS Housing Finance Australia is very informative data and includes measurements of owner occupier housing commitments and compared to investment  housing commitments.

  • Value of dwellings financed
  • Number of Owner Occupied Dwellings Financed
  • Number of Owner Occupied Dwellings Financed – Each State
  • First Home Buyer Commitments
  • Number of Owner Occupied Dwellings Financed Excluding Refinancing
  • Purpose of Finance Owner Occupation – Construction of dwellings
  • Purpose of Finance Owner Occupation – Purchase of established dwellings (including refinancing across lending institutions)
  • Refinancing commitments for owner occupied housing
  • Bank owner occupier dwelling finance.
  • Non bank owner occupier dwelling finance
