Why Inspect?

The reason for conducting a pre-purchase inspection is to gather as much information as possible about the condition of the house so that you can assess the merits and problems associated with buying the property.

Employ an independant and unbiased Building Inspection Company to inspect and report on the property you are considering buying.

The Pre-Purchase Inspection Report

Generally you will receive a detailed and comprehensive document. Ensure it is completed in accordance with the Australian Standard that dissects the house into all the various building components – describing the condition of each and whether it requires attention.

Reports can also contain a glossary of technical terms and diagrams of major components.
